I'm not dead yet.
I'm getting better!
Oh my Gods, it’s been almost a year, I can feel my honor fading… and it’s gone. I’m sure all one of you who actually follow me have been wondering just where I’ve been. And to be frank, I’ve been streaming games from my bucket list. For those of you that don’t know, I stream on Twitch, mostly role-playing video games but now and again I will play other games from a list I’ve compiled that I have begun on stream but have not finished. I accomplished more in than I thought I would, having successfully completed the DOOM series in its entirety, including the Dark Ages. As well as some other choice games on my list.
I’ve also gotten to running some actual plays on my channel. As a joke, I made a goal on my Twitch channel that if I hit a certain amount of channel points that I would run a session of a TTRPG. In my hubris, the goal was hit and I ended up running Final Fantasy Legend Edition, which was a resounding success:
I had a lot more fun with this than I thought and ended up running a second game a few months later. This one was for the holidays with the creator of Final Fantasy Legend Edition himself: MildraTheMonk.
A man who has become a good friend of mine in the year that I’ve known him, having shown me a myriad of games which I have added to the library. Some of which I have plans to run on the channel in the future.
I haven’t forgotten about this page, I’ve just been pretty busy with other things that I haven’t posted all that much.
So, what happens now?
Well, here are my plans:
I am running a full campaign of Final Fantasy Legend Edition on my Twitch channel, titled “Fury of the Land”. Which Final Fantasy fans and TTRPG enthusiasts are sure to enjoy.
I intend to get through my reading of Masters of DOOM in the coming year.
I intend to start making videos reviewing different TTRPGs, probably going to do an actual video on Night Shift using the same script as I did with my text review.
I am going to continue streaming, as I am almost to 50 total games completed on stream, I have something special planned for that.
I have been writing a little more of late, as one of my goals for the year is to do a lot of writing, particularly on my TTRPG settings, as well as a story I have been cooking up behind the scenes. Which I plan to share here at some point.
Of course, plans are known to go awry, the goal here is to remain consistent as humanly possible, while attending to my various projects as well as my worldly responsibilities. I can’t guarantee how often I’ll post, but rest assured, I intend on having fun doing what I love.
