What was originally supposed to be posted on July 31st ended up with my getting sick that day and being bedridden for the past few days. I guess even me, the World Wanderer still gets laid out from time to time. After taking some much needed rest and getting back on my feet, I am once again ready to go.
It seems my rebrand is a success, yes, I am still small but I am doing all of this for the sole purpose of having fun and making people laugh. While it would be nice to grow and get a bunch more people coming around to have a good time, I do like what I have thus far and hope you will continue to enjoy what my crazy mind pumps out.
I had some ideas of how I want to proceed going forward.
While I do livestreaming on my Twitch channel, where I play RPGs and other games I intend on reviewing in the future, but mostly as a space where people can come hang out, chill and enjoy some wacky games and maybe find some new stuff to play. In a gaming industry filled with:
Mediocrity,
Garbage,
and bloated design.
It is my mission to show off things that I enjoy and hope that you will find enjoyment in them as well.
For TTRPGs, I have a few that I am looking to review here in the next few weeks, which I may just continue to offer up write-ups here on the Substack, so none of that is changing.
As for my video game reviews, I have pondered picking up the old video editing software and making videos for them, as I feel that just plain text does not do the games I want to share justice. I do have a YouTube channel (which I would undoubtedly have to censor a lot of language for as if it were a made for TV movie, as it seems that YouTube or rather GoogleTube has become the new Mainstream Media), as well as Rumble, and I have seen that Substack here has video functionality, these are all distinct possibilities.
What games, you may wonder? Well, you’ll just have to wait and see what surprises that I have in store.
There also, maybe session battle reports from some of the games I run in my personal time: those systems being Night Shift, which I already reviewed here on the Substack, something I would have had here already, had I not suddenly fallen ill. I also am getting ready to run a converted homebrew Waterdeep: Dragon Heist, converted to the Castles & Crusades SIEGE system here in the coming months.
I have other ideas, but I’ll keep them a surprise for now.
That’s really all I have for this update, which is already late as is.
As always, more content to come!
Have a good one!
May our paths cross again!
